Switching from resin to vinyl dolls

Over the past few months, I have been thinking about getting rid of most of my resin doll collection to make some space.

I've been drawn to vinyl dolls for a while now. Maybe it's because I've been into anime longer than I've been into ball jointed dolls and vinyl dolls feel more like my dream figures. I know some people have completely switched from resin to vinyl and while I won't get rid of all my resin dolls, I have a feeling I'll be collecting more vinyl ones in the future. I'm trying to figure out which of my dolls I should sell. For those of you who have made the switch to being mostly vinyl collectors, how do you feel about it? Do you find them easier to display and keep clean than resin dolls?

I can imagine how hard it is to make space and focus on what you really want in your collection.
You're right that vinyl dolls are a lot easier to clean and display.
They're super lightweight and don't need special care like resin dolls do.
I've found that instead of trying to choose between different types of dolls, it helps to just focus on which ones truly bring you joy and see which ones you're keeping out of a sense of obligation.
Prioritize what you love right now, not what you think you should love!

Vinyl is way easier to manage on an everyday basis because its lighter, less yellowing stress, and they're fun to pose. I still keep a couple resin favorites, but vinyl really took over my shelf space

Vinyl don’t attract dust or chips like resin can and displaying them is way less stressful, if you handle them a lot
