Finally I clenched my jaws and bought proper display shelves instead of keeping everyone crammed in bins so I spent all weekend setting them up and now I'm realizing I have way more dolls than I thought I did like, embarrassingly more. My dad walked past and just shook his head lol, and now I'm thinking like okay maybe I have a problem?
whatever at least they look amazing all together! ha

At least they're out where you can actually see them now instead of buried in bins, that's the whole point of collecting, right?

How many shelves did you end up needing? asking for a friend who's also in denial about bin storage

If you want, you can stagger the shelves or add risers to show off more dolls without needing more wall space. Looks cooler too.

Looks great! I totally get that “how did I get so many?” feeling... I've been there with my own collection. At least now everything is visible and organized, which makes enjoying them way more satisfying. Maybe a few risers or staggered shelves will help show them all off without taking over the whole room.

Hah. The "how did I get so many" feeling is a classic. But I guess collecting things we resonate with is valid and easily explainable by the passion we have for them. No need for long justifications.
