I'm new to the Dollfie world and planning to visit Japan soon. How was your experience in getting a Dollfie? Do I need to register somewhere? Not sure if you have to call or go in person and I'm wondering how that works if you're not fluent in Japanese. Excited to know more about your experiences!

I'm new to Dollfie as well, and I actually got mine on a trip to Japan. Normally, you don't have to register ahead of time for regular dolls, just swing by Volks' Doll Point in Akihabara. However, for limited editions, you'll need to enter a lottery and register online, which is mainly for local buyers. If you're not very fluent in Japanese, a translation app can be really useful when you visit. Once you're there, it's pretty easy to navigate

That definitely is an awesome experience!! Especially if you visit a Volks store or Doll Point in Akihabara like @dollcraftqueen761 mentioned. For standard models, you can walk in and buy them in-store, staff are usually friendly and used to helping international customers, even with limited English.
