Can I use an action figure head on a fm supermodel body?

I adore a YMToy action figure female head, but don't care for the action figure bodies. I'd like to put the head on a 20 point articulation fr doll body. Both are 1/6 scale. Does anyone know if this would work?

Not too familiar with this niche, but I'm guessing you're talking about the slot on the neck where the head should go? Maybe there's a way to make an adapter or something like that? I've seen very creative things done with dolls.

Got her together. It took an bit of work and the neck opening is larger than the fashion doll body neck, but I made it work!

I'm very pleased with the overall proportions and I love the head. Also the body is very well articulated so she can pose well. The head is a bit wobbly due to the incompatible size of the neck opening, but I was expecting that.

Hey that's really nice work there, definitely a moral boost now to finish up the work I've been procrastinating

You might have to change how the neck is connected or maybe make something that fits between the parts. Also, if you heat up the plastic a bit, you can sometimes bend the neck joint to where you want it.

Afaik, it works but if the fit is loose or too tight, adapters or minor modifications like sanding or adding a bit of putty can help achieve a secure connection without damaging either piece.
