My doll dream is jealous of my new baby!!

I've had my Dollfie Dream Aoi for like a decade now and she's always been my little princess. I remember spending hours styling her, crafting tiny accessories, and just admiring her. And I know this one might sound crazy but I feel she's totally jealous of my newborn!!

My baby is just over a month.. Postpartum was both fun and challenging, the first days were really a handful so long story I had no time to really play with Aoi. I remember placing her neat and secure on top a shelf but she just kept falling over.

Im rocking my baby's bassinet, she falls off. Changing diapers, then I find her on the floor. But last night was worst!! I was nursing my little girl and I think I saw Aoi's little head turn!! Tiny and slow, but like she was glaring at us!!

I know I lack sleep and I'm exhausted, but this one's just so hard to dismiss. I'm afraid Aoi isn't liking that she has to share the spotlight now at home.. but what should I do?

Damn that's scary! have you tried putting her inside a box? You know, like the one you can use to display dolls like a Barbie box? if it falls again then I guess it's time to run??

Well for me, in my old meemaw's house I have my own room.
when I was 10, she gave me this porcelain doll she got from a garage sale and placed it nicely on top of a table. it was beautiful.

On the first night the lights in the room flickered numerous times. I'm not having any of it and i slept in my mom's room instead. the next time I visited, the doll is no longer there. didn't want to ask what happened to it

How about introducing Aoi to the live baby and telling Aoi that she is part of the family, too? Rather than put Aoi on a shelf, put her near and talk to her if you're used to talking to her. And good luck on getting more sleep.
