I grew up not caring much about dolls. I had a Barbie due to being able to sew for her. Then about 9 years ago my grown daughter told me she had 14 Amercian Girl dolls. Each was different and she sewed for them. I was not horrified that an adult had that many dolls. So, she gifted me my first American Girl doll that fall for my birthday. I love sewing for them and have several.
And I had thought anyone paying those prices for a doll was crazy.
A couple of years later I discovered the Ball Joint Dolls and the doll makers. Oh my gosh. They are so great. So I have a few of a few kind. From the 6 inch size to about 14 inch sized. I can sew for them also, but they are so cute. I'll share more about different dolls as we go along.
