Green stain on Azone doll

My friend noticed green spots on her Azone Pure Neemo doll after using some cheap earrings. We're trying to figure out if it's reversible or if the plastic is permanently stained. Has anyone tried sealing the area after cleaning?

@tollerton78 oh man, I absolutely annoyed when this happened to one of my dolls. it's called the green ear and it's from the cheap metal in the earrings reacting with the vinyl. The good news is, it's usually fixable!"
you need to use a product with benzoyl peroxide, like Clearasil acne cream. apply a small amount to the stain, cover it with a piece of plastic wrap, and place it in a sunny spot. The UV light speeds up the chemical reaction that lifts the stain

I’ve seen green staining on older Obitsu bodies too. If it’s deep, it might not lift completely. Did the earrings have nickel or copper in them? That can make it worse.
