Considering a Dream Choice order...

Back when I got my DD Saber in '18, I didn't even know the Dream Choice service existed. Now I'm considering it for a custom project that my bestie and I have been sketching out since we both collect. I'm leaning toward DC-H-07 but not sure what body matches best. Any advice from people who've been through the process?

Doing a collab with your bestie sounds like a fun project!!
The DC-H-07 is a gorgeous sculpt and it's designed to fit any of the standard Dollfie Dream bodies.
It really just depends on the look you're going for.
The DD-f3 is the most common and versatile choice so it's what most of the newer dolls come on now.
I think it would be helpful to think about the character you've designed with your friend so you can know which look best fits!
Just decide on the height and proportions that feel right for her, and you can't go wrong.
All the bodies look great with the Dream Choice heads!

oh you know this would be super fun! My biggest tip is to have a clear idea of the character you're creating before you go in. That blank head can be a little deceiving.
Also, check out some photo galleries on places like Instagram or Flickr of other people's dolls using the DDH-07 head. It's the best way to see what different body types and face up styles look like with that sculpt. You'll get a ton of inspiration

I'll spend the next week checking galleries and comparing body types with the DC-H-07 before deciding. For those who've gone through it, did you find the wait time after placing the order manageable or longer than expected?

It really varies, to be honest.
Volks would usually give an estimate, usually a few months but it can definitely run longer, especially now with how popular the Dream Choice has gotten!
It can be a waiting game so it's good to manage your expectations and put it out of your mind once you've placed your order.

Hmm I'll just have to be patient once the order is in. My plan is to complete my research on body types this week and place the order soon. I'll be sure to come back and post an update for everyone once I get an official timeline from Volks.
