Packing up my Dollfie dreams

I'm prepping for a move and started boxing up my collection. Most 1/6 figures fit fine in cardboard boxes, but I'm unsure how to safely store my Dollfie Dreams. Any tips or box recommendations like Volks-style ones would be awesome

If you don't have the original box, take the wig off and stuff it with clean paper to keep it from losing its shape. Store the wig separately. If the head is custom, take it off and protect the face. Wrap the doll in some clean plastic or a bag to prevent any stains, then cover it with a towel or bubble wrap. Make sure to pack her snug with padding, but don't put anything heavy on top. When you're in the car, keep her on top so she doesn't get damaged

For a moment I thought you're getting rid of them!!
Good that I only misunderstood.
Yeah, putting them in their original Volks boxes would be your best bet if you still have them.
If not, the main things are to protect the vinyl from light to prevent yellowing, and to make sure any clothing or wigs won't stain the vinyl.
Many collectors wrap their dolls in white cotton or acid-free tissue paper, especially in areas where clothing touches the body.
You can also get thin protective bodystockings.

I also kept my original box!!

But if you've thrown yours away, try looking for sturdy, archival-quality boxes that offer enough space so the doll won't be too cramped. Make sure they're also acid-free and lignin-free!

Check out specialty are supply stores or archival product suppliers online like Gaylord Archival or Uline. You can also be lucky with moving supply companies that cater to fine art or collectibles!!
