Struggling with head choice

I've been going back and forth on head choices for this project I'm working. On one hand, I've found a sculpt I really like because it just has a softer, more natural look than the other option that has sharper features and almost feels more stylized, but it's also kind of striking in its own way.
What complicates things is how much the head changes the whole presence of the doll so I keep having second thoughts about whether I should go with the one that fits in everywhere or the one that stands out a little more but might limit versatility
Would appreciate your opinions

Totally get where you're coming from! I had the same dilemma with a custom doll I did last year, I went with the softer sculpt because it felt more "real," but later wished I'd picked the bolder one for photos and shelf presence. If the doll's meant to blend into a group, softer works great. But if it's a centerpiece or character build, I'd lean toward the striking one.

If you want this project to really pop, go for the striking design. But if you're aiming for something flexible or with a story, the natural look might be the better way to go.

That's really helpful, thanks. I think what's tripping me up is that I want it to work in group shots but also be interesting enough on its own kinda like I'm trying to have it both ways
Maybe I'm overthinking this and I'll probably just go with whichever one I keep coming back to when I look at them
Thanks guys
